8bitboy is an amiga modplayer for the flash9 player. Thanks Andre Stubbe for the design and Joa Ebert for the initial idea and his Modparser.

Very neat André!
Do you plan on releasing the source at any point?

I’m thinking now that Renoise 1.8 uses XML based modules, a good open source converter for mod/xm/s3m/it ++ could be made in AS3.

Anyway, fantastic player and initiative. =)

Great job! I would love to see the source as well, but i am even more interested in the performance. Could you perhaps build in a fps meter or do you have any idea if this would run nicely alongside a flash game?

Is it possible to share the mod player so that we can include it into little games ?

Awsome !!! A mod player should have been included in Flash since the begining. Mods are the best way to make lightweight music.

i like to add in my homepage.. what can i do?
