Hi Andre’. This is a brilliant viewer, is there any way I can test it with different photos, or purchase the .fla file from you for commercial use?

I am really curious to test it with some of the virtual tours we’ve taken.

I second that André. Any sources, or a license?

I get a strange performance curve from the viewer
http://www.opensourcery.net/images/performance.png
It’s as if it’s cycling through something about once a second, giving a performance dip (drop in framerate) while panning…

it’s great!
can you post it for download?

Hi there,
Well Andy since I don’t speak german, it’s hard to translate your words… ;)
It’s a great cubic player and since I didn’t get your answer about the sources, I must ask the same question. Are them available? I would like to modify it for my projects… ;)

Very impressive work indeed. Thank you so much for the open source. I’ve never seen its equal. If you’d set up a donation box at paypal or something i’d be sure to add to your funds.

Is there a way to do regular html text links to different panoramas instead of merely “hotspot” links within each panorama? The only way I see now is to have each panorama exist in its own directory with its own config and html file. I was hoping I could list all my panoramas in the one config xml file and then call on them based on their cube name, but that hasn’t been working.

it would be really cool to make each face of the cube animated, or even make the faces flv videos. but that’d probably take too much processor to run smoothly.

Why does the CubicVR runs fine on this page, and when I download the archive, It tells-me that my flash player have to be upgraded ??

chris wrote...

it would be great to combine this engine with a pyramidal-tile-based loading of images like it is done in zoomify. then you have nearly unlimited zooming based on a huge picture and a fast load on startup.
