I though, that this little toy was lost, but I just found a backup! This was a free personal project 2 years ago with Partrick Müller, who has coded all the backend communication.
Unfortunatley, I had not enough time to finish it, so here is a version without saving functionality.
Fast instructions:
Choose a sound in the browser panel and drag it into a free sequencer slot. Switch on some notes and click the play-button. Play around to learn the other features as soundtransform and effects. Nice, isn’t it ? We will make it better in flash9 :)
i dig the reggae slow beats thing can punch out. as usual, very cool
Neat one. :)
I did similar thing exactly 2 years ago, and left it unfinished due to the lack of time (and will).

That was meant to be a rythm sampler for studying djembe. I got stuck when I tried to make triplet-length sounds - I can’t figure out how to do that when we have to consider flash player sound ticks to make a stable tempo.
Btw, how do you set your BPM? Either you know some secret, or it should be wrong as we can’t set the EXACT amount of beats per minute… :) What synchronising technique did you use?
i´d love to have the source of a as3-version :-)
great work!
It reminds me of fruity loops
my test with flash 8.0

could we re-use your work in non-commercial projects?
I found how you store sounds in drums.swf etc. (CHihat01_C¦CHihat02_C¦Clap01_C¦ …)
but a source would nice, do you plan to release your work under any kind of license??
i’m making a new one from scratch
There is nothing in the browser panel?
Nothing in browser panel, browser panel does not open a file dialog, so where does a sound file get loaded?
I found a bug. The browser scrollbar goes down past the browser scrollbar trench and into the game.
The gateway.php file is throwing notices or errors… the SWF can’t parse that.
Nothing in the browser
