Very nice. As a layman it occurs to me that the effect is unlike that of a tunnel in that the central, ‘distant’ part of the view transforms rapidly and slows as it nears. Were one really flying through a tunnel the distant view would gradually speed up as one got closer until the nearby walls rush past.
